you stopped by my street
hearing the Adhan,
the temple bells
Eyes looking out at the horizon.
Searching for me
Skyward ....
I am never hidden!!
Maybe, only in ignorance.
breathing life in every being
I am here
All this while right by your side
hand in hand
Oh - never far from my beloved,
who are the closest to me
Those who burn like slow ambers
on the coals of hard edged life
Purified to lift higher their souls
to be the light of lights
for many others
to believe !!
